i'm sure you've all heard about the 1,000 or so anti-war protestors that were arrested in san francisco a few days ago. well, yesterday i got a phone call from jane doe who was apart of that 1,000. she was also not allowed to leave until then because she would not give her age or name.

because she would not give her name she was "accidentally" hit with a night-stick and screamed at for many hours in a small room with maybe 60 or more people. she was pulled aside, then screamed at alone.

they are trying to get people with rioting charges, even though it was all a staged sit in. the only thing that occurred that was even slightly what someone would consider a riot was when police surrounded many groups and pushed them together. and what do you do when you are pushed? push back.
and so they did

as soon as they all started letting people sign out from the police station, there were only 100 or so still there.
[once again proving that if you are truly serious about changing the world, you should be ready to do anything]

she was there for only 2 days. there are 24 still there.
